On tonight’s bonus episode of the Torch and Twang DJ Sparrow headed back to the campfire and took the reins by themselves while DJ DC took some time away back home. starting out with a lonely Bob Dylan they moved onto some classic country to get the blood flowing. Once they were able to get their country kick out they went back to their old happy place with some smoky bar blues to hang out with. After going against DJ DC’s wishes for an extended blues section they reeled things back in with some Fleet Foxes and Son Volt. walking with some female country greats like Patsy Cline and Iris DeMent, they then went to the isles of England to listen to Ole Nick Drake. To finish off the night they took the cowpoke to Coney Island with Lou Reed and Gave one more shout out to a little series called Fallout and its soundtrack. attached is the playlist from tonight’s show and we’ll catch you ’round the campfire next time.
