27 reports of MSU Community Compact violations since the start of spring semester – Emily Bevard
Since the start of the spring semester there are currently 27 possible cases of violations through the Michigan State University Community Compact.
Four of the students are placed on an interim suspension which is the short term measure by the Dean of Students before a conduct case is finalized. The cases are under determination if the student’s presence at the university is dangerous in regards to the health and safety of individuals.
The community compact set a standard for personal and public health amid COVID for all MSU students, staff, faculty, alumni, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
Those who plan to visit campus are required to participate in MSU’s COVID-19 Early Detection Program, practice social distancing and wear face masks.
