Want some drama? Released Sept. 5, 2025, Jadagrace and SWIM exposed their former bandmate, TJOnline, for 3 minutes and 11 seconds straight. As a fan of the three rappers under their former name grouptherapy. since 2020, I was surprised of this sudden diss track towards TJOnline. Many people online were speculating that grouptherapy. had fallen out because of TJOnline’s possibly wanting to become a solo artist — but as we listen more, this song covers more than just a difference of opinion. As both Jadagrace and SWIM reference The Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z, 2Pac and Nas, they slam on TJOnline for his rude and out-of-pocket comments to the both of them. Here’s some excerpts from the song:
“You a lame, it’s a shame, you ain’t built for this rap game /
If I’m bein’ real, boy, you should’ve stuck to acting (That’s true)”
Jadagrace unveils TJOnline’s opinion that SWIM should have stuck with acting instead of starting a rap career, but we later find out that SWIM was a ghostwriter for some of TJOnline’s lines and songs.
“Jada’s so blessed and yet she needs more /
Not to mention, she’s an attention w***e (Don’t do ‘em)”
SWIM bares TJOnline’s criticism of Jadagrace for always wanting more money, but in later lines SWIM then talks about how Jadagrace paid for TJOnline’s car, meals, grills, and even the bills. Suffice to say, TJOnline’s pretty ungrateful!
Although animosity between rappers and former bandmates is not new, the secretive nature of a battle between bandmates adds a whole new layer of exploration and analysis for the fans to pick apart. So, if you want drama-filled music, PARTYOF2’s got you covered.
