On this week’s episode of Spartan Red Zone, Zach Surdenik takes the host mic, accompanied by co-host Aidan Champion and special guest Zac Slowik. The guys talk Michigan State’s loss to Purdue, preview the matchup with Maryland, discuss the second CFB Playoff rankings and more.
Zach (he/him) is a senior journalism student who has in his fourth year at Impact! In his time at the station, he has covered many sports including men’s and women’s basketball, football and baseball.
Aidan is a senior journalism major who serves as a football beat reporter for Impact 89FM. He has covered wrestling, women's basketball, men's basketball, football and baseball while at Michigan State.
Zac is a senior at MSU, majoring in journalism and minoring in journalism broadcasting. He currently serves as the News Director while announcing football games and Co-hosting the Green and White Report. Zac began as a sports and news volunteer at Impact in 2020, before being hired as the News Editorial Assistant in 2021.
