A few members of Desmond Jones talk about their upcoming song “George Floyd,” which will be released in support of Black Lives Matter with all proceeds going to civil rights organizations in Grand Rapids. We discuss the role of music and social media in the pursuit of societal change, and how white musicians can use their privilege to elevate the voices of others.
