In this episode of Impact Izzone, Michael Markoch, Brendan Schabath and Luca Melloni recap MSU’s return to play after the violence that occurred in the Michigan State community on February 13 which included a loss on the road at Michigan and a win at home against Indiana. The guys get off on a tangent about development in regards to the NBA and finish the show previewing MSU’s next three games.
Michael is a senior journalism major and a current men's basketball beat reporter and host of The Pylon. He has previously covered women's basketball, baseball and football for the Impact. He transferred to Michigan State from the University of Akron in 2020.
Brendan is a senior journalism major and the current sports director at the Impact. He is the men's basketball beat reporter and broadcaster. He has previously covered men's and women's basketball in addition to football for the Impact
Luca is a senior journalism student and the sports editorial assistant at Impact 89FM. He is the men's and women's soccer beat reporter where he spent the last three seasons covering the two programs, as well as the men's basketball beat writer for the Impact. He is the host of the DeMartin Download podcast. Outside of Impact, Luca is the executive producer for Focal Point News at Michigan State University. Luca is also a news producer at WSYM FOX 47 in Lansing.
