What’s your role at the Impact?

Host & Creator of Terminally Online

What made you join the Impact and become a DJ?

I was always a very neurotic music nerd in high school. One summer, I went to a Summer Camp for MSU and we toured the studio on an off day. I didn’t even know for sure if I was going to MSU at that point, but I did know I wanted to join college radio. Thankfully it all worked out.

Where are you from?

Royal Oak, MI

What has been your best on air experience?

Ed The Welder called in to request Jonsi and then called me back to call Salt Licorice “horseshit” after I played it. Alternatively, I once played an HMLTD song that’s literally impossible to find now and called it “thumbing my nose at God”.

What is the best concert experience you’ve had? Why?

LCD Soundsystem in 2017. My sister and I were front row and it was just hits on hits on hits for two hours. When they played Movement, they did a superstrobe during the breakdown and it went just unbelievably hard. I was always a very dorky teenager (weren’t we all?) but that show taught me how to dance. For that, I’ll never give up on them

What’s your zodiac sign?

Taurus

What is your favorite album from 2021?

Nick Cave & Warren Ellis – Carnage

Favorite Vine quote?

[“I want to see my little boy”] “HERE HE COMES”

If you were on a deserted island, who would you bring and why?

My best friend and partner. If you’re reading this, you know who you are ♡

What’s a time you’ve laughed so hard you’ve cried?

During my Freshman year, I had a D&D group with some people in Wilson every Sunday. One afternoon, the feds did a sweep down the hall and asked us if we had smelt anything. Our artificer Jack didn’t see who was at the door and yelled “GO AWAY WE’RE PLAYING DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS!” After they cleared out, we all lost it.

If you could have dinner with any famous celebrity, alive or dead, who would you pick?

This was actually a security question for my bank account at one point. As such, I’ll be opting for my second choice: Brian Eno.

Favorite dining hall on campus?

Sny-Phi. Only dorm with fresh bread every morning babeyyyy

Favorite movie or TV show?

Princess Mononoke
