Cowboys No Match for No. 9 Spartans

Michigan State moved to 3-0 at Spartan Stadium with their 56-14 homecoming victory over Wyoming.

Jeremy Langford had his first 100-yard rushing performance of the season, the ninth of his career, finishing with sixteen carries, 137 yards and one touchdown. Connor Cook completed eight of  12 passes for 126 yards and two touchdowns alongside one rushing touchdown of his own.

Both of Wyoming’s touchdowns came in the first half.

Michigan State’s second-team played significant minutes in the second half. Quarterback Tyler O’Connor scrambled for a 12-yard touchdown run on a broken play to increase the Spartans’ lead to 56-14. Third-string quarterback Damion Terry finished the game under center for Michigan State.  He completed 6-6 passes for 56 yards.
