Matt Merrifield, Sports Broadcast Director
Matt (he/him) is a Journalism and Public Relations & Policy major. He is a cohost of the Green and White Report, joined Impact in the fall of ‘21 during his freshmen year, and has covered every sport on campus.
Jay DeCoster
Jay DeCoster, Sports Editorial Assistant
Jay is a senior studying Mediated Communications at Michigan State. He joined Impact in September of 2021 as a volunteer. Jay is the Michigan State Football & women's soccer beat reporter for the Impact sports department. His interests include supporting his favorite Chicago sports teams, and golfing in the summer. Zac Slowik
Zac Slowik
Zac is a senior at MSU, majoring in journalism and minoring in journalism broadcasting. He currently serves as the News Director while announcing football games and Co-hosting the Green and White Report. Zac began as a sports and news volunteer at Impact in 2020, before being hired as the News Editorial Assistant in 2021.
