ANN ARBOR – At the end of the first half, Michigan State is trailing its rival Michigan 10-7.
After a scoreless first quarter, Michigan fullback Sione Houma scored on a short run to make it 7-0 Wolverines.
Later, running back LJ Scott scored the only Spartan touchdown in the first half on an 11-yard rush. Michigan kicker Kenny Allen then added a field goal to make it 10-7.
Michigan linebacker Joe Holden was ejected for targeting. The Spartans only touchdown of the half came on that same drive.
