The Bandwagon: NFL Week 15 Late-Game Picks

The+Bandwagon%3A+NFL+Week+15+Late-Game+Picks

Sunday, 4:05 p.m.

  • FOX, New Orleans Saints at [-3] Arizona Cardinals
    • ZS: Cardinals — Welp. Sounds like it should be a good game, but two disappointing seasons. This one could be a shootout. I’ll give Arizona the edge at home.
    • ZD: Cardinals — Both sides playoff hopes are essentially gone, but the Cards’ defense may prevail in this matchup.
    • AS: Cardinals — Both teams have had under-par seasons, but the Cards are the lesser of two evils in this one.
  • FOX, San Francisco 49ers at [-14] Atlanta Falcons
    • ZS: Falcons — San Fran, bad. Atlanta, good.
    • ZD: Falcons — Falcons should put up major points here. No other explanation really needed.
    • AS: Falcons — The 49ers are one of the bigger laughing stocks in the league, ATL should have a field day at home.

Sunday, 4:25 p.m.

  • CBS, New England Patriots [-3.5] at Denver Broncos
    • ZS: Patriots — Denver’s defense may be the best in the league, but their offense does not impress me (although Justin Forsett looked decent) and New England’s defense is sneaky good. Patriots by a TD.
    • ZD: Patriots — Brady struggles against the Broncos, but the Pats are once again playing great. New England keeps on moving.
    • AS: Patriots — New England is an elite team for a reason, whether on the road or in Foxborough, they can pull out anything
  • CBS, Oakland Raiders [-3] at San Diego Chargers
    • ZS: Raiders — Oakland only being favored by three is kind of disrespectful. Raiders had the extra rest after playing TNF, and that will pay off as they will pull away late.
    • ZD: Raiders — First place against last place in the AFC West. Raiders are on the verge of being in the playoffs for the first time in 14 years. It starts today.
    • AS: Raiders — One of the most exciting and up-and-coming teams in this league should continue their rise this weekend.

Sunday, 8:30 p.m.

  • NBC, Tampa Bay Buccaneers at [-7] Dallas Cowboys
    • ZS: Buccaneers — Third pick against the spread. Tampa Bay is red hot. Dak Prescott and Dallas are looking to bounce back after last week. The Bucs’ defense has been flying under the radar despite their last four games. America’s team drops their second straight game.
    • ZD: Cowboys — As much as people want to talk, Dak and the Cowboys are fine. They get another win at home here.
    • AS: Cowboys — Anyone who knows the name Ashanti Lee Seabron knows that another name that fits snug alongside it is the Dallas Cowboys. They’ve been too impressive this year to bet against them in 99% of situations.

Monday, 8:30 p.m.

  • ESPN, Carolina Panthers at [-7] Washington Redskins
    • ZS: Redskins — Washington is currently seventh in the playoff picture. Depending on what Tampa Bay does on Sunday night, a win could put them in. Carolina’s lackluster season continues with a loss in MNF.
    • ZD: Redskins — Cam has nothing to play for besides pride. Is that enough? I don’t think so against a Redskins’ offense that can be explosive.
    • AS: Panthers — Cam Newton has had a mediocre season. Everyone has witnessed this. He should be able to beat this Washington team, and at least add a few W’s to his team column to round out this year and build for next one.
