Spartans Routing Rutgers on Senior Day: 35-0 at Halftime

On a wet cold afternoon, the No. 10 Michigan State Spartans started strong in their last home game of the season against Rutgers.  At halftime, MSU leads  Rutgers 28-0.

The first four Spartan touchdowns came from seniors – a 30-yard pass from Connor Cook to Tony Lippett, a pair of rushing touchdowns from Jeremy Langford, and a 1-yard touchdown run by Nick Hill.  In the final thirty seconds of the half, Connor Cook found R.J. Shelton in the end zone for the fifth Michigan State score of the half.
