For the first time in nearly three years, we have heard from The Tallest Man On Earth. The Swedish singer-songwriter, Kristian Matsson, gave us the first taste of his upcoming album Dark Bird Is Home last week. To those who have been listening to The Tallest Man On Earth since his debut in 2008, they will notice that “Sagres” is quite different than his previous work. Straying away from his acoustic sound, “Sagres” introduces much more instrumentation than Matsson’s earlier albums. Although, the rawness of The Tallest Man On Earth was what initially drew me in as a fan I must say I’m feeling this new sound. So definitely check it out and keep your eyes open for Dark Bird Is Home which is due to drop on May 12.
