2024 NFL Mock Draft 2.0

2024 NFL Mock Draft 2.0

Now that a champion has been crowned, the Shrine and Senior Bowls have come and gone, and all open head coaching spots are filed, it’s time for the 2024 NFL Mock Draft 2.0.

With the Chiefs beating the 49ers, we finally have the solidified first-round order, but that doesn’t mean some craziness won’t happen in this mock. Unlike 1.0, this mock draft will have trades.

This 2024 NFL Mock Draft 2.0 is published before the NFL Combine and Free Agency, so just know that things can and will change a lot soon.

1. Chicago Bears: Caleb Williams, USC, QB, Junior
Chicago goes with the chalk pick here and selects Caleb Williams.

2. Washington Commanders: Jayden Daniels, LSU, QB, Senior
With the first NFL Draft selection of Washington’s new regime, they go with the explosive LSU QB, Jayden Daniels.

3. TRADE | Denver Broncos: Drake Maye, North Carolina, QB, Sophomore (RS)
An aggressive Sean Payton gives up the house to move up and grab Drake Maye.

4. Arizona Cardinals: Marvin Harrison Jr., Ohio State, WR, Junior
Arizona salivates at the chance to grab the premier WR of this draft, and in this scenario, they get just that.

5. Los Angeles Chargers: Rome Odunze, Washington, WR, Senior
Jim Harbaugh’s first pick with the Chargers is the complete Washington wide receiver, Rome Odunze.

6. New York Giants: Joe Alt, Notre Dame, OT, Junior
The current QB for the Giants, Daniel Jones, dealt with some serious health issues this past season. New York looks to Joe Alt to help protect him.

The Jets select who may be the best pure pass-blocker in the draft to help protect Aaron Rodgers.

11. Minnesota Vikings: Jared Verse, Florida State, ED, Senior
DC Brian Flores gets another piece for his defense when the Vikings pick up Jared Verse.

12. TRADE | New England Patriots: J.J. McCarthy, Michigan, QB, Junior
Even with trading back with the Broncos, the Patriots are still able to grab a QB in the ball of clay that is J.J. McCarthy.

13. Las Vegas Raiders: Terrion Arnold, Alabama, CB, Sophomore (RS)
The Raiders look to their secondary and draft Terrion Arnold.
