Michael Markoch, Jay DeCoster, Manit Patel and special guest Andrew Buckman get you ready for Wildcard Weekend of the NFL Playoffs. The guys recap the Detroit Lions’ season, discuss openings in the head coaching realm and some key quarterback injuries. All four members also share their picks for this weekend’s slate of games. Michael is a senior journalism major and a current men's basketball beat reporter and host of The Pylon. He has previously covered women's basketball, baseball and football for the Impact. He transferred to Michigan State from the University of Akron in 2020.
Jay is a senior studying Mediated Communications at Michigan State. He joined Impact in September of 2021 as a volunteer. Jay is the Michigan State Football & women's soccer beat reporter for the Impact sports department. His interests include supporting his favorite Chicago sports teams, and golfing in the summer.

Manit is a sophomore journalism major and general assignment reporter for Impact. He has previously covered women's and men's basketball for WDBM. Currently, Manit is a member of Impact's NFL podcast, The Pylon, and the NBA podcast, Courtside Convo.
Andrew Buckman (He/Him) is in his second year at MSU studying journalism. He has covered multiple sports for Impact, appeared on podcasts and has worked in different roles with the football team. In his free time, Andrew loves to play golf and watch sports.
