Michigan State women’s basketball beat reporters Matt Merrifield, Allie Cohen, and Marin Klein talk about MSU’s wins over Western Michigan and Oakland while previewing the weekend against Florida A&M.
Matt (he/him) is a Journalism and Public Relations & Policy major. He is a cohost of the Green and White Report, joined Impact in the fall of ‘21 during his freshmen year, and has covered every sport on campus.
Marin is a sophomore from Northborough, MA. She is studying sports journalism and works for the Big Ten Network. Marin is in her second year as a women’s basketball beat reporter
Allie Cohen (She/Her) is a junior at Michigan State University studying Journalism with a minor in Sports Broadcasting. She is currently the Sports Broadcast Assistant and has been with Impact since Fall 2021. In her time with Impact, Allie has written for variety of sports and is entering her second year of calling women's basketball games and co-hosting the Breslin Breakdown podcast.
