Four more Spartans suspended for altercation in Ann Arbor

EAST LANSING- Michigan State’s head football coach Mel Tucker and Director of Athletics Alan Haller have released a joint press release, announcing the suspension of four additional student-athletes for their part in the altercation at Michigan Stadium last Saturday.

Jacoby Windon, Malcolm Jones, Justin White and Brandon Wright have all been suspended effective immediately. 

The suspensions come just one day after the ESPN tunnel camera footage was released to the public.

Joining Tank Brown, Khary Crump, Angelo Grose, and Zion Young who were suspended Sunday evening.

The eight players will be eligible to receive academic support and medical services, however, they will not be permitted to attend any team activity, including practice, workouts or games.

“We will continue to take appropriate action in this matter as we learn more,” Haller and Tucker said in the press release. 

 There may be more suspensions as more information becomes available. 

All eight student-athletes will be suspended from the team until the investigation is completed..
