COVID-19 cases are on the rise again as Michigan State University begins its 2022 spring semester in a virtual setting.  President Samuel L. Stanley announced to the university that all students, faculty and staff are required to receive the COVID-19 booster and submit their verification of the vaccine by Feb. 1. The university and the Ingham County Health Department are collaborating to offer the COVID-19 booster vaccines at the Breslin Center for the next month.

These vaccines will be available to the MSU community as well as the public. All three FDA approved and authorized vaccines will be available; Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson. These clinics will be held January 17, January 26, and January 31 at the center from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each of these days.

Individuals that choose to participate must bring a valid ID (MSU student/employee IDs are acceptable) and a vaccination card from their previous two COVID-19 shots if available. Appointments can be made through the health department website and are strongly encouraged by the university. Walk-ins are welcomed until 5:45 p.m. each day. Lot 63 off Harrison Road, to the south of Breslin, is open for free parking. Patients will enter the Breslin Center at  the southeast Hall of History entrance by the Magic Johnson statue.The clinic recommends that patients arrive 15 minutes prior to their appointment and wear a short sleeve shirt. CATA is providing free transportation to any patient in need of a ride.
