MSU Leads Purdue 24-17 at Halftime

WEST LAFAYETTE – Connor Cook has connected with six different receivers in the first half at Purdue, throwing for 179 yards and two touchdowns. The No. 8 Spartans lead the Boilermakers 24-17 at halftime. Tony Lippett leads the way for receivers with five receptions for 119 yards and a touchdown, while Josiah Price added a touchdown of his own.

Michigan State has been spreading the ball around on the ground also, with six carriers rushing for a total of 165 yards. Nick Hill scored on a two-yard rush late in the first quarter.

Akeem Hunt ran for 35 yards on seven carries, one of which being Purdue’s only touchdown. Late in the half, Austin Appleby found B.J. Knauf for a nine-yard touchdown pass.
