Ahead of this weekend’s Green and White spring game, Michigan State announced the commitment of Matt Carrick, a three-star offensive lineman, the No. 36 player in Ohio, from Massillon, Ohio.

The 6-foot-4 Carrick attends Perry High School in Massillon and received a scholarship offer from Michigan State on April 1. According to MLive, Carrick had received offers from Miami, Toledo, Ohio, Iowa State and Akron.

Six players have now verbally committed to the Spartans for the 2017 season.
Michigan State will play its spring game this Saturday, April 23.
