Michigan State drops to No. 23 in the AP Poll

EAST LANSING— After falling to No. 21 Minnesota on the road and winning at Nebraska, Michigan State dropped to No. 23 this week in the weekly AP poll rankings. The Spartans got their first win in the Big Ten after starting 0-3 in conference play. MSU is currently 11th in the Big Ten after losing to Northwestern, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.

The Spartans will head back to the Breslin Center for a matchup with No. 14 Rutgers (7-2) on Tuesday night.  MSU will continue their conference schedule as they welcome Purdue (7-5)  at home this Friday.
