When No. 2 Michigan State football hosts Central Michigan on Saturday, it will again be a time to “Celebrate the State“.
Leading the Chippewas’ offense will be quarterback Cooper Rush. Rush is the starting quarterback for CMU and a Lansing Catholic alum. Rush’s former teammate at Lansing Catholic, Matt Macksood, plays wide receiver and is the starting holder for Michigan State.
Impact reporter and The Pact producer Bradley Allen spoke with Jim Ahern, Lansing Catholic’s varsity football head coach about his experience coaching Rush, and what he expects to see on Saturday in East Lansing.
