Michigan State University’s gymnastic schedule for the 2014 season has been released. This year, the women’s gymnastics team will face off against seven other Big Ten teams, bringing their season-long schedule to 12 meets.

The team will begin their season with the annual Green vs. White scrimmage on Dec. 21, followed by the Meet The Spartans event on Jan. 4, both held in East Lansing.

To kick off the season, coach Kathie Klages and her team will travel back-to-back to face off against Bowling Green on Jan. 10, and Iowa on Jan.18.

For the first home meeting, the Spartans will host Minnesota for the Breast Cancer Awareness Meet on Jan. 24. The next two meets are away against fellow Big Ten competition, Rutgers and Penn State. In-state rival Michigan will travel to East Lansing for the Alumni Meet on Feb. 7. , The Autism Awareness Meet against Pittsburgh will be Feb. 15 in East Lansing.

A five day break is followed by two away meets in Illinois against Illinois and UIC on Feb. 20 and Feb. 22, 2015. The Spartans will then travel to Maryland on Feb. 27 to compete against Towson, Rutgers and Yale. On March 6, the Spartans will hold senior night against Arizona and Eastern Michigan. To close out the regular season schedule, the team will go to the Nebraska Qualifier on March 14.

Finally, on March 21, Michigan State will hit the road for the final time and head to Ann Arbor for the Big Ten Championships to kick off the postseason.
