Raise your hand if you’ve ever felt personally victimized by Valentines Day. I’m guessing everyone raised their hands. Honestly, who even cares about that mushy, gushy, social media-driven holiday? Why do we need to dedicate a day to be overly affectionate to our loved ones, when we all know that we should be appreciative of them every day? We don’t. Exactly. There is one redeeming quality about Valentine’s Day though. It’s the fact that all the candy goes on sale the next day. Now we can drown our sorrows in sugar and listen to some music to make us feel a little sweeter.
