After the release of her most recent chart topping album, Tell Me How You Really Feel, we revisit Courtney Barnett’s previous work by making “Ode to Odetta” our Jam of the Day: Throwback Thursday Edition.
The closing track on her 2014 release, Double EP: A Sea of Split Peas, is slow and lazy- not warranting more than a gentle headnod or light swaying in time with Barnett’s soft strumming. The track has a light and breezy quality, making it the perfect soundtrack to an afternoon drive with the windows down or an afternoon in the sun.
