As summer is rapidly approaching, the most important thing to keep in mind is that you need to have music ready for beach days, bonfires, and other activities. Each season has its mood music, and I feel that dream pop is a genre that fits in well with the warm weather and days spent basking in the sun.
Galaxie 500 was a dream pop band that was only active from 1987 to 1991, but in that span, they released three stellar albums. This track, “Summertime,”, comes to us from their third and final album This Is Our Music. If I were to describe this track in one word, it would have to be floating.
