Our DJ this week is truly out of this world! Meet DJ Zar to the Stars! She mixes seriousness with fun on Saturdays from 6-8 pm. DJ Zar gets you in the mood for the Cultural Vibe (which is right after her shift). She creates diversity within our station from playing music similar to The Vibe and her favorites SHINee and Aminé. When she’s not at the station, she is studying to be a journalist.

1. What made you decide to join Impact and become a DJ?

I figured I had a lot to offer in terms of ideas and music choice or experience with music.

2. What has been your best on air experience?

When Gigi and I danced in the studio during the cultural vibe.

3. How has working at 88.9FM changed your life?

I’m cool asf now.

4. Who would be your dream co-host?

Howard Stern or Whoopie Goldberg.

5. What is the best concert experience you have had? Why?

Aminé. I met him and met a lot of friends there.
