“Heart Attack” is the title track from up-and-coming indie-pop band the Pooches first studio EP.
Frontman Jimmy Hindle draws on a multitude of influences, from Big Star to the Kinks, and everything in between. This effect creates a sound that resembles the indie-punk genre that exploded across the pond during the late ‘60s.
Pitchfork described the track as “an understated and lovable bit of songcraft about the NYC hardcore band Heart Attack. It suggests the Pooches could someday become cult favorites themselves.”
