While whiteout conditions grip the East Lansing area, Behind the Mask settles in on this off-week to get you up to date with the Spartans.

Michigan State picked up their first sweep of 2016 over the downtrodden Wisconsin Badgers. Jason and Jacob take you through the two games and talk MSU’s newfound momentum.

With the sweep, the Spartans are now squarely in a battle with Ohio State that could likely cumulate at the Xcel Energy Center with a rematch of the 2013 Big Ten quarterfinal. We take a few minutes to discuss how Ohio State has become the Spartans’ secondary rival not only on the ice, but on the turf and hardwood as well.

After that, we go around the boards and check in on the state of the Big Ten.

Finally, in a change of pace, Jacob previews the Thursday-Friday matchup between heavyweights Michigan and Minnesota with the Big Ten regular season crown likely on the line.
