Radiohead has finally confirmed tour dates for 2016. The alt-rockers plan to headline Chicago’s Lollapalooza, Barcelona’s Primavera and Switzerland’s OpenAir. According to Consequence of Sound, rumors are circulating that numerous North American performances are in the works.
The band teased fans through Twitter and the founding of their new company Dawn Chorus LLP. Pitchfork pointed out Radiohead’s pattern of creating a new company before releasing an album. So, it’s safe to say a new album is in the near future.
It’s been five years since the release of their last album King of Limbs and four years since their last performance. Keep your fingers crossed and ears open, fans. Your patience has definitely earned this.
