Welcome to The Pact’s new show time. As part of WDBM’s weekend talk show lineup, The Pact now airs every Sunday at 10 a.m. on 88.9 FM
For the first show in the new time slot, Bradley Allen hosts alongside Faith Krogulecki and Tony Garcia.
In the first segment, The Pact team introduces themselves and welcome back Michigan State students on move-in day. Later, The Undercurrent host Quin Hoffman reports on the Northern Guard, Detroit City FC’s die-hard supporters group.
Later in the show, Michael Higer gives us our weekly MSU sports update, and Tony and Faith discuss Michigan State basketball’s exhibition games in Italy.
Sunday’s feature story was on Aerial Powers, a redshirt junior forward for Michigan State women’s basketball. Alexa McCarthy spoke with Powers about her gold medal win for Team USA in South Korea during the 2015 University Games.
Transitioning from basketball to football, The Pact revisits a feature from earlier in the month on Darian Hicks. Hicks has returned to practice with the MSU football team after being sidelined with an illness.
Finally, Tony, Bradley and Faith debate on the selection of MSU football captains.
The Pact airs Sundays at 10 a.m. on 889FM in the Lansing area and online at impact89fm.org
