Summer is coming to an end. I know, I can’t believe I’m saying it either. With the impending and inevitable doom of fall semester, the only thing to do is stifle your tears and drown your sorrows in punk music.
From their most recent album, Joy Departed, Sorority Noise brings you sad, sappy hit after sad, sappy hit. One of my personal favorites is “Nolsey”.
Because school starting is basically the same thing as heartbreak, “Nolsey”s lyrics will surely carry you through syllabus week with lines like, “I’m not sure of anything in this world, except I’m always wearing black and sleeping in.”
Take a tip from Sorority Noise and join me in jamming out to this song and wearing black to mourn the death of fun.
