From the New Jersey folk-punk group’s latest album, The Most Lamentable Tragedy, “Come On, Siobhán” is the closest Titus Andronicus has come to releasing a blatant pop track.
Violas and piano provide jaunty dance energy as vocalist Patrick Stickles and the rest of the band shout “Come on, Siobhán!” repeatedly throughout. As the song nears its end it broaches into arena rock territory as if inviting the listener to join in with the band, fist pumping into the air as they and the band triumphantly greet Siobhán at dawn.
