The brilliant duo of Iron and Wine’s Sam Beam and Band of Horses’ Ben Bridwell has recently released Sing Into My Mouth, a covers LP that includes revived versions of songs from artists including Bonnie Raitt, Sade, and Pete Seeger.
“This Must Be the Place”, originally by Talking Heads, has been redone beautifully and respectfully in regards to the original. Beam and Bridwell’s soothing harmonies, smooth violin patterns, and soft acoustic riffs will have you wondering why the two haven’t been performing together all this time.
