Whatever you think of when you hear of U2, this likely isn’t it. Coming from their debut album, “The Electric Co.” is bursting with a youthful energy that U2 has yet to match since.
Inspired by their heroes in the world of punk music, the band (still in their teens at this point) fill the song with frenzied guitar playing, full voice singing, and propulsive drums that catapult the song forward. This song has so much energy that it even defies the slow fade out, fading back in to finish off with a bang.
