Hartford, Connecticut’s Sorority Noise released a new album, Joy, Departed, earlier this June. For those of us who went through a New Found Glory/Motion City Soundtrack/Bright Eyes etc. phase (or maybe still are), there are many waves of nostalgia to be felt when shuffling through.
“Corrigan”, the second song off of the album, combines clever, beautiful lyrics with a combination of soft, slow acoustic and harder electric riffs. Each song is quite different from the next- it isn’t an album to get bored of quickly.
