Over the past week I have become addicted to Father John Misty’s latest album I Love You, Honeybear.
“True Affection” is the third track off of the new album. The echoing vocals of J. Tillman (Father John Misty) accompanied with the electro-pop and drum snaps on the track make this song a standout on the mostly ballad driven album.
Though it is a different sound than what Father John Misty has previously done with their music, it definitely works out for the better.
