EAST LANSING- Michigan State men’s soccer is looking to ride the momentum of an impressive 2-0 win against No. 25 Wisconsin as they travel to Bloomington to face off against the Indiana Hoosiers.

Winners of three of their last four games, the Spartans enter this matchup with the Hoosiers fourth in the Big Ten with 12 points and a 4-2 conference record. 

In their last game against the Badgers, senior midfielder Sean Kerrigan led the way for MSU scoring two goals in 12 minutes in the first half. 

Kerrigan is a player to watch in this matchup against the Hoosiers, along with another midfielder, Jonathan Stout. 

Stout and Kerrigan are the leading goal scorers for the Spartans this season with Stout scoring four and Kerrigan scoring three.

The Hoosiers enter this home matchup with the Spartans not far above the Spartans in the Big Ten Standings, second in the conference with 14 points and a 4-1-2 record. 

This game will be crucial for the Big Ten regular season title hunt, with both teams chasing the first-place Maryland Terrapins at 16 points.

Key players to watch for the Hoosiers include senior forwards Tommy Mihalic and Samuel Sarver. 

Mihalic is third in the Big Ten in points with 17 on the season and second in the conference in goals with eight. Sarver is third in the Big Ten in assists with seven on the season. Mihalic and Sarver are also at the top of the conference in shots.
