Will Henry, a senior at Michigan State University and an audio engineer and musician, delivered a stunning performance for participants of MIPA (Michigan Interscholastic Press Association). He performed his songs Not Made for Me, Referee, I Shall Be Released, and I Need You. This performance was a great chance for MIPA students to learn about the various equipment radio stations use to capture the unique sounds of music. Will Henry gave a quick lesson explaining how his amp produced sound, the most important being how the sound varied depending on where the sound was coming from. While performing his songs, MIPA students were able to see the equipment in use, including his snazzy bright blue guitar. After the performance, students had the opportunity to interview Will Henry. By doing this students learned how Will works through challenges and the process of his song writing.
