You live in a quaint town of elven folk in a land called Kingdom. Peace has reigned in Kingdom for centuries after a great darkness was driven out by noble elves who now graciously rule. But now, that darkness has returned, decimated your village and stolen the precious Rock of Life, which has the power to destroy the whole kingdom and all the peaceful folk who live here. You, humble and brave, step up to retrieve the Rock and warn the noble elves of the coming darkness — a courageous quest, indeed.
Yet, along your quest while searching through a seemingly abandoned castle, you mistakenly stumble into a dungeon — dank, dark and devoid of life. Groans and cries of despair echo through the cavern, escaping from the cells that line the stone walls. Deep shadows conceal prisoners gaunt with hunger, chains rattling as they shift into the light cast by the torch you hold. You catch movement from the corner of your eye, and before you know it, you’re tossed by an invisible force into a cell. The door slams, and through the rusted bars, an evil wizard of the darkness grins wickedly down at you. Your quest has just begun, but now you’re trapped in a dungeon. Will you be able to escape, or will you be trapped forever?
