There are three certainties in life: death, taxes and snow in Michigan. However, it is nearing the end of December, and there has only been one bit of snowfall this year. That snow lasted all of two days. The temperature has even climbed up into the 60s recently. This feels sacrilegious.
Nothing fills me with more sadness than looking outside my window and seeing the ground looking the same as it did in September. The fact that this is probably going to be the coldest year of the rest of my life isn’t helping out either.
This playlist captures the same sense of melancholy and mild frustration that seeing the bald ground this late in the year instills in me. I want snow. I need it now. Please just let there be some before the seasonal depression kicks in.
