EAST LANSING – Michigan State basketball announced on Wednesday that Michigan State sophomore forward Jaxon Kohler will miss the start of the season to recover from foot surgery.
Kohler had surgery done on his left foot on Tuesday in North Carolina, and is expected to be back on the court for the Spartans before Christmas. Kohler averaged 3 PPG, 2.9 RPG, and 0.3 APG in the 34 games he played during his freshman season for the Spartans. He scored a career-high 12 points in MSU’s 70-57 win over Rutgers last season in January.
