After a brief break due to the end of the semester, Brendan Schabath, Luca Melloni and Michael Markoch are back to recap the first 11 games of Michigan State’s season. The guys give their take on where MSU can improve, some injury updates and what to expect in the next two non-conference games before the new year. All that and more on this edition of Impact Izzone.
Brendan is a senior journalism major and the current sports director at the Impact. He is the men's basketball beat reporter and broadcaster. He has previously covered men's and women's basketball in addition to football for the Impact
Luca is a senior journalism student and the sports editorial assistant at Impact 89FM. He is the men's and women's soccer beat reporter where he spent the last three seasons covering the two programs, as well as the men's basketball beat writer for the Impact. He is the host of the DeMartin Download podcast. Outside of Impact, Luca is the executive producer for Focal Point News at Michigan State University. Luca is also a news producer at WSYM FOX 47 in Lansing.
Michael is a senior journalism major and a current men's basketball beat reporter and host of The Pylon. He has previously covered women's basketball, baseball and football for the Impact. He transferred to Michigan State from the University of Akron in 2020.
