Host Luca Melloni, joined by Jay DeCoster and Cameron McClarren, interviews East Lansing High School boy’s soccer coach Julian Birge. The crew talked about MSU women’s team and how they could win a championship this week. The men’s team is surprising some with a second-place standing and they preview their matchup against Maryland.
Luca is a senior journalism student and the sports editorial assistant at Impact 89FM. He is the men's and women's soccer beat reporter where he spent the last three seasons covering the two programs, as well as the men's basketball beat writer for the Impact. He is the host of the DeMartin Download podcast. Outside of Impact, Luca is the executive producer for Focal Point News at Michigan State University. Luca is also a news producer at WSYM FOX 47 in Lansing.
Jay is a senior studying Mediated Communications at Michigan State. He joined Impact in September of 2021 as a volunteer. Jay is the Michigan State Football & women's soccer beat reporter for the Impact sports department. His interests include supporting his favorite Chicago sports teams, and golfing in the summer.

Cameron is senior journalism major who currently covers football for the Impact. Cameron previously served as a hockey beat reporter and has also covered men's and women's soccer during his three years.
