One in the morning: it’s a time meant for sleep. But as college students we have no choice but to rebel against this standard for whatever reason. Sometimes work, sometimes play, sometimes with a lover, sometimes mourning the separation from one, sometimes in a joyous haze, sometimes wishing for better days, usually because an Amtrak train cuts through campus blasting its steam horn.
Here is what we are usually are listening to when the train forces us to reconcile with how late it is.
