On this edition of City Pulse On the Air, reporter Cole Tunningley talks to Smitty Smith, one of the key organizers of the 2021 Pumpstock Music Festival. Pumpstock is an annual music festival dedicated to roots music and Americana. It was canceled last year due to the pandemic, but now it’s coming back strong than ever with a roster of acts from around the country.
Arts editor Skyler Ashley interviews musician Adam Droscha, a singer/songwriter who performs across Michigan with the indie/blues rock band Two-Faced Wilson. Droscha is also a talented writer and poet, whose work was featured by the 2018 Lansing Sidewalk Poetry Project. Droscha discusses his history as a musician and writer, as well as his plans for a forthcoming Two-Faced Wilson E.P.
