Impact 89FM

Katelyn is a first-year student at Michigan State University studying environmental engineering and is expected to graduate in 2023. Hailing from Birch Run, Michigan, she has always had an interest in journalism and an adoration for music. This makes Impact the perfect way to combine these two things with one local publication. Katelyn volunteers for both Content Team and Music Review. During the summer, she works in an ice cream shop and spends as much time as possible with her two pugs. Katelyn’s main go-to genre of music is alternative, but she won’t turn down classic rock or 2000s throwbacks.  Some of her favorite artists include Bratmobile, Beastie Boys, Cage The Elephant and The Front Bottoms. She can be reached at her school email, [email protected], or her personal email, [email protected].
