In this special two hour episode of The Green & White Report, Ryan Rabinowitz is joined once again by Ryan Collins, as Julian Mitchell is out of town in Minneapolis, providing coverage of the NCAA men’s tournament.
The guys kick off the show by discussing the end of the Spartan men’s basketball season, why they think Michigan State lost, and their emotional reaction to the game last night (3:49). Producer Hikaru Kudo also joins to share his thoughts on the game (25:25).
Afterward, Sam Britten hops on the mic to wrap up MSU women’s basketball season, after falling short to No. 1 Norte Dame back in the second round of the NCAA women’s tournament (33:51).
Moving away from basketball, Hikaru jumps on the mic once again, this time to give an update on MSU softball and share his thoughts on how he thinks the team can improve throughout the season (46:00).
Heading into the second hour of the show, MSU baseball beat reporter and Assistant Sports Editor Luke Sloan hops on the mic to give an update on MSU baseball happenings during the past week (54:09).
Continuing with MSU athletics, MSU club roller hockey team president, Rob Kowalczyk, visits Studio H to talk about his team beginning their national tournament run against UC Santa Barbara later this week (1:04:25).
Moving away from MSU athletics for a moment, Ryan Collins gives his thoughts on The Masters, which start this Thursday, and who he thinks will win it all this year (1:15:45).
Finally, to close out the show, Julian calls in from Minneapolis to wrap up MSU men’s basketball, and give his thoughts on the national championship game on Monday (1:29:53).

Sam is a senior journalism major who covers women's basketball for Impact 89FM. He has also previously covered men's basketball and football while appearing on Breslin Breakdown, Impact's women's basketball podcast.
Luke is a senior journalism major who currently serves as sports director for Impact 89FM. As sports director, Luke oversees the day-to-day operations of the sports department while covering a variety of sports across campus.
Julian Mitchell is currently a senior journalism major who joined Impact in the fall of 2016. Hailing from St. Louis, home of the great St. Louis Cardinals, he has been a sports fan all his life. If it wasn’t for his short stature, Julian would probably be Tom Izzo’s floor general and be leading the team to a third national title.
