Behind the Mask Special — Big Ten Legislation

Last week, College Hockey News reported on a piece of legislation submitted to the NCAA by the Big Ten conference. It’s aim is to change recruiting rules so that student athletes could only enroll at age 20 and still retain all four years of eligibility. The legislation has generated controversy in the college hockey world, with many schools angry both at the proposed rule change and it’s method of submission.

Hosts Jason Ruff and Jacob Herbert welcomed Jeremy Dewar, hockey writer for The Only Colors, as their guest host to discuss their thoughts on the legislation and what it means for college hockey moving forward.
