HALFTIME: OSU 28 MSU 21 in Offensive Shootout

At the end of the first half, Michigan State trails The Ohio State 21 to 28.  Connor Cook hooked up with Keith Mumphery on the first drive of the game for a 15-yard touchdown.  The Buckeyes responded with two big plays by RB Ezekiel Elliott, capped off by a 5-yard touchdown run by J.T. Barret. Barrett added another rushing touchdown after Jeremy Langford scored the second TD for MSU on a 33-yard run.  Langford had 94 rushing yards in the first half.

MSU responded to J.T. Barrett’s touchdown with one of their own, as Langford scored on 1-yard run making it 21-14.  Ohio State fumbled the next kickoff giving the Spartans the ball inside the red zone.  After the Spartans failed to get into the end zone, Michael Geiger was missed a 39-yard field goal.
The next play from scrimmage was a 79-yard touchdown pass to Michael Thomas, and after an MSU three-and-out Barrett found Devin Smith for a 44-yard touchdown.
